"Our group shows that community-based gardening really generates income for our families. We share our harvests during feeding programs and clean-up drives."
"Through our garden, I can support the needs of my child in college. Without this [alternative] source of income, I could have ended up with debts."

World Vision continues to support the farmers' group through their community-based livelihood and food security project, providing them access to agricultural supplies and farm inputs, and linking them to other partners for training.
The farmer's group also receives support from the Kidapawan City Agriculture Office, which buys the farmer's produce at a competitive price and provides vegetable seeds and capacity building in agriculture.
